Roger Watts
Consultant
Roger graduated from St Catharine’s College, Cambridge University in 1978. He was admitted as a solicitor in Northern Ireland in 1979 after studying at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, where he was awarded the Thomasina McKinney prize for top pupil solicitor, before further studies at Vrije Universiteit in Brussels where he completed a Master’s degree (magna cum laude) in 1987 in International and Comparative Law (including EU Law). Roger has also been admitted to the roll of solicitors of the Court of Judicature of England and Wales as of 1990 (non-practising).
Roger practices principally in business-related fields, in particular company & commercial law, media law, commercial property, planning & environmental law and employment law. He started working in C&J Black upon qualification and was admitted as a partner in 1983. He brings his wealth of experience to Crawford Lockhart Black as a consultant.
