Emma Townsend

Emma graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2003 with a degree in Law and Criminology, before attending the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in Belfast, where she attained her Certificate of Professional Legal Studies with Distinction in 2006.
Emma apprenticed with a firm in Holywood where she commenced her career, concentrating mainly on Wills, Probate law and Estate planning. She joined C&J Black in 2008 and became a partner with the firm in 2020.
Emma is a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and advises clients in relation to Wills, Trusts, EPAs and Estate Planning, Administration of Estates and Controllership matters, as well as practicing conveyancing.
